The night sky is just awesome, with the Milky Way looking like a dense cloud above you! You can sit in the spa and watch the satellites and spent Russian rockets pass overhead in total seclusion. The air in Australias south West is so clear, especially during the winter months.

Wineries:

Western Australias south West, is home to some of the worlds finest wines. Not only do the major producers have wineries down south but many boutique wineries have sprung up throughout the south West region. In most country towns down south, you can find a selection of fine wines with tasting's and cellar sales.

Tourist Attractions:

The South West of WA is one of the most diverse areas in the world.. One minute, you can be on a world class sheltered beach, yet within 20 minutes can be overlooking the wild Indian Ocean! Magnificent stands of Jarrah, Karri and Tinglewood forests lie with a couple of hours of each other! The treetops walk in Denmark, The Natural Gap and Blow holes in Albany, The still peaceful beaches of Busselton, The Surf at Yallingup and Margaret River, The forests of Pemberton, the Jarrah forests of Collie and the world class wineries of the South West.. There's a LOT more than just the kangaroos that hang around a lot of the Cottages and Chalets in the South West. The forests of Pemberton, Nannup and all through the South West of WA just teems with all manner of wildlife.. The magnificent Blue Wrens and various species of Parrots, to Possums and Emus .. You can swim near the wild dolphins, or go and watch the whales playing in the ocean off Albany.

Limestone Caves:

Cape Naturaliste and Cape Leeuwin. The land here is honeycombed with limestone caves, some of which are open to the public. The Yallingup Caves near Dunsborough, are particularly impressive, especially the Jewel Cave. The Ngilgi Cave was discovered around 1900 and was the first cave in Western Australia to be open to the public.

Busselton Jetty:

Busselton has the longest wooden jetty in the southern hemisphere. After extensive renovations, you can walk the entire 2 kilometers to the underwater observatory at the end! There is also a miniature train to take you out if it's all too much!

Dunsborough

Dunsborough is home to the Swan shipwreck and is an underwater haven for all sorts of marine life, much to the delight of the many who wish to dive upon her. Dunsborough also has some magnificent north facing secluded beaches and sheltered coves.
